Do you know where the milk comes from?
Have you ever stroked a calf?
Do you know what a tomato plant looks like?

Children and teenager who visit the “learning place farm” with their teachers, are able to answer with yes to all these questions.

More than 20 school classes per year, spends a morning or an afternoon (approx. 4 hours) here with us. From farmer Andreas Müller the pupils learn how we work on our Bioland® farm. During the tour through the cowbarn, farm gardening and farm shop, the children can also help with agricultural activities themselves:

– harvesting fodder
– feed cows
– milk a cow
– curry a calve
– pull weed
– sowing some cress
– Harvest vegetables (depending on season), and so on.
– Farmer Andreas Müller explains expertly and age-appropriately the
digestive peculiarities of a cow, species-appropriate animal husbandry,
agricultural machines.

A visit to our “learning place farm” is instructive for all levels, elementary schools, secondary and for vocational schools as well. Depending the age of the pupils, we adapt the visit program individually in consultation with the teachers. Costs, by arrangement
